Founder, Senior Stylist
Curl and texture work, editorial colour
Amara opened Aurelia in 2019 after eight years between Toronto and London. Her work centres on hair that already has a strong personality. She trains the rest of the team on curl protocols and consults on every colour correction.
Senior Stylist, Colour Lead
Balayage, lived-in blonde, copper work
Noor leads the colour room. She is most often booked for clients moving between brunette and blonde without losing the integrity of either. Her balayage work has been featured in Toronto Life and Fashion magazine.
Stylist
Editorial cuts, fringe and short-hair work
Elena trained in Madrid before moving to Toronto in 2022. Her cutting is methodical and architectural. She is the stylist clients book when they are ready for a real change and want someone to talk them through it carefully first.
Stylist, Extensions Specialist
Tape-in and hand-tied extensions, gloss work
Jordan handles the salon's extensions practice. They came to Aurelia after five years on the editorial circuit and now split their time between extension fittings and gloss refreshes. Most extension clients meet Jordan at consultation and stay with them for years.
A note on training
Our team trains together once a month, often with visiting educators. We share notes on every colour correction. The salon culture is small enough that any stylist on the floor knows your history by your second visit.
